WAFAD Celebrates a Milestone with the CHICKEN4U Project!

West Africa Food and Agricultural Development Limited is a Ghanaian agribusiness company focused on transforming agriculture and the poultry sector. The company is making significant progress at its new breeder farm, which will soon house the parent stocks for the CHICKEN4U program, as announced on its official LinkedIn page. This facility represents an important step toward providing high-quality GRANGER dual-purpose poultry to farmers and households across Ghana.

This achievement has been made possible through the strong support of the Gates Foundation, Hubbard, and WAFAD GROUP, all working together to empower smallholder farmers, strengthen food security, and create sustainable livelihoods.

We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated WAFAD team, our on-site contractors, and all partners and stakeholders who are working tirelessly to ensure the project is completed on schedule.

Together, we are building more than just a farm; we are laying the foundation for a future where poultry serves as a driver of income, nutrition, and transformation for rural communities, as stated on their LinkedIn page.
