Based on the great feedback received after the first seminar in Kenya, Hubbard decided to organise another Hubbard Efficiency Plus Seminar, but this time in Tanzania.
Tanzania has seen significant growth in agriculture, with a particular improvement in the organisation and development of the poultry sector. Hubbard has strengthened its position in the Tanzanian market over the last decade and it is our desire and responsibility to continue supporting the farmers in this strategic area. As the market grows, so does the need for management support. In the spirit of Hubbard’s slogan “Your Choice, Our Commitment” we want to be part of this dynamic.
In Tanzania, Hubbard customers are located in different regions, from Arusha to Dar Es Salaam and also in Iringa. In order to cover this vast region, Hubbard’s local Customer Support organised specific training courses close to its customers, so that as many people as possible could participate. This is because farm staff and managers cannot be away from their duty for too long. Therefore, a compact format of training sessions was organised in the main production centres of the country. The key topics were common challenges for all participants, such as: biosecurity, uniformity, and growth management of the breeders. 
These courses were given in an interactive way and with a very practical approach, in the same spirit as Benjamin Franklin’s famous quote: “Tell Me And I Forget, Teach Me And I May Remember, Involve Me And I Learn”.
Hubbard would like to thank the almost 40 participants who shared an excellent spirit and dedication during the sessions. They all left more motivated than ever to continue improving the management and optimising the performances of their Hubbard flocks.
Their involvement gives us extra motivation to present similar seminars to our valued customers in the near future.
